Sykia

Sykia is one of the oldest local villages of Halkidiki and is located at the southernmost tip of Sithonia. It got its name from an old fig tree around which the village was built, another version relates its name to the shadow of Mount Athos.

Browse through its narrow picturesque streets with traditional houses and visit the old Primary School and the church of Agios Athanasios that stand proud over the years.
